New Albany’s commitment to leisure, health and culture offer a unique quality of life and opportunities for many social and athletic pursuits.

Our Village Center, New Albany’s physical and social core, is home to many of our biggest special events and includes restaurants, coffee shops, New Albany – Plain Local School Learning Campusour library, and our community health, culture and arts anchors. Our network of parks, sidewalks, and 53+ miles of leisure trails connect the Village Center to our neighborhoods and the New Albany International Business Park and brings vitality to our streets.

Heit Center

Our Philip Heit Center for Healthy New Albany is the community’s health destination where people can go to participate in community health programming, work out in a state-of-the-art fitness facility, or be seen by some of central Ohio’s best doctors.

McCoy Center

Our Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts plays host to some of the world’s most renowned artists and speakers and serves as New Albany’s culture and arts anchor.

Recreation

Bevelhymer Park, Thompson Road Park and Wexner Community Park, managed by the New Albany Parks & Recreation, offer a wide range of recreational activities, from ball fields and tennis courts to walking trails, playgrounds and a multi-use pavilion. The Plain Township Aquatic Center, adjacent to the Wexner Community Park, features an outdoor pool, water slides and children’s water park.

The New Albany Country Club is not only a prestigious landmark but an activity center for all ages. The club features a 27-hole Jack Nicklaus golf course; a 50,000 square foot club house with three restaurants and a 250-seat ballroom; a 30,000 square foot, full-service health club; five swimming pools and 18 tennis courts.

The New Albany Links club and golf course, serving members and the public, features an 18-hole golf course; club house with dining, banquet facilities and workout facilities; an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts.
