iQor Coming to New Albany

iQor, a major call center operation for debt collections, announced plans to bring up to 800 jobs to New Albany.  The company plans to occupy about 40,000 square feet of space in the New Albany Center of Technology being developed by Daimler.  When iQor has all of its 800 jobs in New Albany by 2017, the company will have an estimated $20 million payroll that will also generate more than $140,000 in income-tax revenues for the New Albany-Plain Local School District.  Since 2009, the New Albany Business Park has added more than 4,000 jobs and more than 12,000 employees now work in the park.
